For aromatherapy with essential oils, we have relied on the company Flora for years, pioneers of Aromatherapy in Italy since 1989. A wide selection of 100% pure, natural, and total essential oils, sourced from Organic or Biodynamic Demeter certified farms, from conventional agriculture, or wild plants.
All FLORA essential oils are 100%:
Pure
They do not contain additives or added substances.
Natural
They are all obtained by steam distillation from specific parts of the plant or by cold pressing. No synthetic products are used.
Total
They are not subjected to processes of de-terpenisation (removal of terpenes) or the elimination of furanocoumarins but are kept intact, without any component of the phytocomplex being removed. Nothing is added and nothing is taken away, in full respect of the product obtained from the extraction process.
The Processing of Essential Oils
All FLORA essential oils undergo olfactory and organoleptic tests to evaluate their colour, consistency, and fragrance, as well as GC-MS analysis (gas chromatography coupled with mass spectrometry) to determine the chemical composition and identify the chemotype.
The major components of each production batch will then be listed on the product label, for full transparency, allowing industry professionals to choose the most suitable essential oil for specific situations.
GC Multiresidual Testing to identify any residues of pesticides and herbicides: the presence of these substances would prevent acceptance of that product.
Vegetable Oils
Vegetable oils are prepared in the artisanal laboratory, cold-pressed, 100% pure.
